Older Reference Books being moved; Ready Reference created for newer/more heavily used ones

Indeed the staff is busy this summer! As some of the bound periodicals are being withdrawn, the ones remaining must be ‘shifted’. Older, less-used reference books are relocated to the shelving space created from the withdrawing and shifting of periodicals. A Ready Reference collection is being created for the remaining newer and more heavily used books which will stay in the existing Reference area. These will be designated in the catalog as ready reference and the call numbers will have RREF at the end of them instead of REF.
