Free Online Resources for Small Businesses

NAAL Makes Small Business Reference Center Database Freely Available Online

Montgomery, AL, January 7, 2011
Working on behalf of all Alabamians, the Network of Alabama Academic Libraries (NAAL) – a consortium of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education and college and university libraries– has developed a partnership with EBSCO Publishing for access to selected information resources, including the EBSCOhost Small Business Reference Center.  This resource will be available at no cost to all residents of Alabama on the Alabama Virtual Library ([ ] from January 2011 through June 2011.  It is also accessible to authorized Calhoun students, faculty, and staff on the Calhoun Library Web page for [ ]Online Databases under the database vendor, EBSChost.

EBSCO Publishing is providing complimentary access to the Small Business Reference Center which can help small business owners with buying/selling a business, managing employees, writing a business plan, understanding legal information, marketing a business, and other related issues.  This licensed database includes current information on relevant topics from starting a company, operations management and sales to growing or rescuing a business.

EBSCOhost Small Business Reference Center will be accessible through June 30, 2011.
