Make your own summer reading list


Ray Bradbury passed away last week. Have you ever read his classic Fahrenheit 451?  How about Ender’s Game* by Orson Scott Card or (Alabama native) Harper Lee’s To Kill A MockingbirdThe Lord of the RingsThe Great Gatsby?

Summer is a great time to catch up on books we’ve always meant to read but never quite started.  Here’s a list of suggestions from Flavorwire to give you some ideas:

*The Ender’s Game movie (with Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield) will be in theaters next year. Read the book now to be ahead of the curve or just to enjoy an entertaining and though-provoking story.
