VIP Room and MultiMedia Room available to reserve

Brewer Library, Decatur campus, now has a computer room available to faculty to schedule for a class when an instructor would like all students to have access to a computer/virtual workstation. The VIP Room can be scheduled for a specific date and time by calling Circulation staff at x2774 at Brewer Library, Decatur campus and holds up to 40 students.

The MultiMedia Room (MMR – the computer room at Hsv Campus) at the Huntsville Campus Library can be scheduled by calling HCL Circulation staff at 890-4774.

Both the VIP Room and the MultiMedia Room can be booked by instructors on a first come, first served basis for occasional classes – not on a regular, weekly basis.

The computer rooms with student virtual workstations at each Library offer the following:

Huntsville Campus Library – MultiMedia Room (MMR)

Faculty/Staff can book the MMR by calling x4774

  • 32 Virtual Student Workstations
  • Networked Printing with Pharos Print Card from all workstations
  • MS Office 2010 and 2013
  • Smart Instructor Station, LCD, Large Screen
  • Polycom Unit (speaker phone for conference calls)
  • Lock Down Browser
  • IE v9
  • FireFox Mozilla ESR v10.0.9
